Tetra Tech’s impact on the Infrastructure Development Sphere

Tetra Tech International Development works with people and communities to create positive impact across the infrastructure development sphere. We operate through the lens of GEDSI – gender, equality, disability and social inclusion to ensure that all social groups are considered when deploying new infrastructure. Our people are passionate about improving lives by applying their technical expertise and experience to create practical, sustainable and environmentally responsible development solutions.

Infrastructure investments can make a significant impact on community empowerment, the welfare of families and the development of communities as a whole.

We have experience in managing and delivering sustainable infrastructure projects around the world, including in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Pacific.

Tetra Tech engages with local stakeholders to provide capacity building through formal or on-the-job training, internships, mentorship programs and integration of our work with host nation staff wherever possible. In harmony with our technical work, our teams work closely with the responsible local governments and institutions to build their financial and managerial capacity for operations and maintenance to ensure long-term sustainability of infrastructure projects.

Over the last five years alone, we have effectively managed over AUD886.5 million in subcontracts, with AUD205.7 million awarded to small, disadvantaged businesses, and AUD181 million to small woman-owned businesses.
