What we look for

We are always looking for our people to contribute to a range of positions throughout the Indo-Pacific. While the roles we recruit for are varied, at the heart of every recruitment we look for values-driven people whose skills and expertise will make a positive impact to the work we do.

Whether you’re an early career professional looking to grow your career in international development, or an expert in your field, we seek individuals who share our values.

We look for consultants who will provide insight into local contexts and knowledge, as well as technical expertise in the areas in which they operate. We strongly encourage early career consultants to proactively pursue learning and growth opportunities, and provide the opportunity to work closely with our sectoral experts. At Tetra Tech International Development our consultants are collaborative and enjoy working closely with clients to deliver intelligent solutions which make a difference.

Our recruitment process

When applying for a role in one of our programs or corporate offices, you can  expect the following steps through our recruitment process:

We assess your application against the key selection criteria listed in the position description. Our team are looking for experience and expertise relevant to the role on offer.

Following screening, if we require more information from you, a member of our human resources team will be in touch to ask any specific questions.

Occasionally there can be multiple rounds of interviews required in this stage of the process. Here we are looking for ‘our people’ as much as assessing your fit for the role on offer. In these interviews our team will ask a range of technical and behavioural questions, however, they are discussions and conversational, and provide you with the opportunity to interview us!

(Police/reference/sanctions) – we take safety seriously at Tetra Tech International Development, which means that each (successful) applicant will be subject to police and reference checks.

Throughout the process, we will provide open communication to all applicants. We are also happy to provide feedback on applications upon completion of a recruitment process.
